The date of the harvest is determined from an analysis of samples taken 4-6 weeks earlier with a goal of obtaining a perfect balance between the rich sugar content and the natural level of acidity. Healthy and fully ripe grapes help determine the quality of our wines. During September or early October, the harvest time is the crowning moment of the year. It is the reward of a whole year’s worth of work. A year where every single moment was filled with passionate, hard and difficult work. For approximately ten days, a large family of faithful pickers is reunited: loyal harvesters, who have always enjoyed our hospitality. Thus, every year, about 30 people, coming from all different backgrounds, carefully pick the grapes, which are then immediately delivered to the wine pressing center.
